I'm usually not a big fan of Shoujo manga. This is mainly due to the fact that I'm a superficial bastard and can't stand most of the designs. Of course I guess I'm not really in the target audience, if you see where I'm going. But every once in a while, something catches my eye, and for blogs sake it happened to be February's "Manga Pick of the Month".
Say "I Love You" is a manga by Kanae Hazuki. The story revolves around sixteen year old Mei Tachibana, who is an outcast with no boyfriend or friends her age. I'll save you some of the more mundane plot details, as you know what type of manga it's already. Surprisingly Mei is a refreshing change of pace from most leads in these types of stories. There are currently three chapters out from Karma Falls Scanlations complete with direct download.
