Retreating from my embrace of Shoujo manga and back to the harsh world of Seinen is Historie. Historie tells the story of Eumenes, a general to Alexander the Great. Of course if this sounds boring, you're missing out on a great piece of historical manga with visuals to rival Vinland Saga. The ancient city of Cardia is rendered with great detail and gooey gore.
