Bucket Full of Awesome

Who would of known that this Summer season would be my time to sneak back into following anime weekly? There are currently four shows that I'm instantly hooked on that have only just started airing in Japan.

-Umineko no Naku Koro ni

-Bakemonogatari

-Zan Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei

-Canaan

So far only Umineko has subtitles by GG. Umineko totally came out of left field for me in that I've never been a huge fan of the "Higurashi" franchise at all. Thankfully it seems stand alone story enough that I won't have to go read cliff notes from the previous series.

Bakemonogatari on the other hand is my big show this season, mainly due to the amazing production values SHAFT put into episode one. Even if you can't understand Japanese, take a look at the raw.

Of course that leaves Canaan, which is by Type Moon (do I need say more?), and Sayonara Sensei's new season.

Trying to follow four series will keep me busy, but most of all hopefully entertained.
