I've never been one for manga, especially raw manga at that. Sure I've enjoyed my token series such as Emma and Vinland Saga, but nothing out of the ordinary. You'll usually find me watching anime rather then tracking down a weekly manga chapter. Over the past few anime seasons I've found myself shying away from but one or two shows and venturing into the world of manga.
You won't see me blocking the manga aisle at Barnes & Nobles, but I will pick up a manga if I find the art and story semi interesting. I admit though that I'm more of an "art whore", as shown by the monthly "Manga Picks of the Month" and the picture attached to this thread. Speaking of that picture, the manga in question is titled "Ane To Muchi" by Kasuga Syun.
Still "Ane to Muchi" is just one of a number of sourceless manga that I've come across browsing the web. I'm envious of many Japanese bloggers who can simply run down to their local manga store and pick up the latest volume. While it marks me as lazy, somehow it takes all the wind out of my sails when I have to hunt around for the title then special order it. Although in an amusing sort of way I guess that's what I get for only following one or two shows a season.
