So I'm in the market for a new DVD player. Sure a little behind the times with the entertainment industry pushing Blu Ray, but I really don't have that much money to spend. In my normal "cheap bastard" way, I always look to get the best value for my dollar. Right now my current DVD player is a Pioneer DV-420V-K.
Of course it's connected through HDMI so it can upscale normal DVD's to wonderful 1080p. The Pioneer player hasn't given me any problems at all, and on the plus side it can play XviD and Divx. Still I'll be keeping an eye out for any deals, especially on the highly touted OPPO BDP-83 Blu Ray player.
