After the Christmas and New Years break slumber, the Winter anime season has has arrived. Unfortunately, this season seems to be as bare as the ground after freshly fallen snow. You can find the full chart here. Let's try to find something to follow this Winter.
Maoyuu Maou Yuusha - With the director of Spice and Wolf at the helm, Maoyuu already draws comparisons to the fan favorite show. Couple that with beautiful animation from ARMS, and this will be a similar show to watch. This is my most anticipated show of the season, for good reason.
An exceedingly short list for this new season, but there are other shows of note. Nekomonogatari(Black), a new season of Milky Holmes, Minami-ke's fourth season, and Kyo Animation's Tamako Market are also airing. Hetalia, Chihayafuru, and Boku wa Tomodachi also make a return this season. The long await ending of the Hellsing OVA series also arrives this month. The list of OVA releases for this month is seemingly stronger than the season itself.
